| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 151.004, Occupations Code, is amended to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Sec. 151.004. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas Medical |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Board is subject to Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Act). Unless continued in existence as provided by that chapter, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the board is abolished and this subtitle and Chapters 204, 205, 206, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 601, 602, 603, and 604 expire September 1, 2019 [2017]. |

| 18 | 18 | | SECTION 2. Section 501.005, Occupations Code, is amended to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | read as follows: |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Sec. 501.005. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas State |

| 21 | 21 | | Board of Examiners of Psychologists is subject to Chapter 325, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence |

| 23 | 23 | | as provided by that chapter, the board is abolished and this chapter |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | expires September 1, 2019 [2017]. |

| 25 | 25 | | SECTION 3. Section 502.003, Occupations Code, is amended to |

| 26 | 26 | | read as follows: |

| 27 | 27 | | Sec. 502.003. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas State |

| 28 | 28 | | Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists is subject to |

| 29 | 29 | | Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued |

| 30 | 30 | | in existence as provided by that chapter, the board is abolished and |

| 31 | 31 | | this chapter expires September 1, 2019 [2017]. |

| 32 | 32 | | SECTION 4. Section 503.005, Occupations Code, is amended to |

| 41 | 41 | | Sec. 505.005. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas State |

| 42 | 42 | | Board of Social Worker Examiners is subject to Chapter 325, |

| 43 | 43 | | Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence |

| 44 | 44 | | as provided by that chapter, the board is abolished and Section |

| 45 | 45 | | 505.101 expires September 1, 2019 [2017]. |

| 46 | 46 | | SECTION 6. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 47 | 47 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 48 | 48 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 49 | 49 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 50 | 50 | | Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the |
|---|
| 51 | 51 | | legislative session. |
