8 | 8 | costs associated with administering certain assessment | |

10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 39.083(b), Education Code, is amended to | |
12 | 12 | read as follows: | |
13 | 13 | (b) The annual financial management report must include: | |
14 | 14 | (1) a description of the district's financial | |
15 | 15 | management performance based on a comparison, provided by the | |
16 | 16 | agency, of the district's performance on the indicators adopted | |
17 | 17 | under Section 39.082(b) to: | |
18 | 18 | (A) state-established standards; and | |
19 | 19 | (B) the district's previous performance on the | |
20 | 20 | indicators; [and] | |
21 | 21 | (2) a description of the district's total expenses | |
22 | 22 | related to administering an assessment instrument required under | |
23 | 23 | Section 39.023, as determined in accordance with the methodology | |
24 | 24 | established by the agency for calculating total expenses; and | |
25 | 25 | (3) any descriptive information required by the | |
26 | 26 | commissioner. | |
27 | 27 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
28 | 28 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
29 | 29 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
30 | 30 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
31 | 31 | Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the | |
32 | 32 | legislative session. |
