| 8 | 8 | | stabilization fund for the repair, restoration, and permanent dry |

| 9 | 9 | | berthing of the Battleship "Texas." |

| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. (a) The amount of $30,000,000 is appropriated |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | from the economic stabilization fund to the Parks and Wildlife |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Department for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2018, and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | $30,000,000 is appropriated from the economic stabilization fund to |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the Parks and Wildlife Department for the state fiscal year ending |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | August 31, 2019. Money appropriated to the Parks and Wildlife |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Department under this section shall be used to repair, restore, and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | present to the public in a permanent dry berth the Battleship |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | "Texas." |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (b) This Act expires September 1, 2019. |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | SECTION 2. (a) Subject to Subsection (b) of this section: |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (1) this Act takes effect immediately if it receives a |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | (2) if this Act does not receive the vote necessary for |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | immediate effect, this Act takes effect on the 91st day after the |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | last day of the legislative session. |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | (b) This Act takes effect only if it receives a vote of |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | two-thirds of the members present in each house of the legislature, |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | as provided by Section 49-g(m), Article III, Texas Constitution. |
