| 10 | 11 | | rates, measures of college readiness, student performance in |
|---|

|---|
| 12 | 13 | | closing the achievement gap for disadvantaged students; fewer than |

| 13 | 14 | | 17 percent of the schools considered in this rigorous analysis |

| 14 | 15 | | earned a bronze medal; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, One of four campuses in the Bowie Independent School |

| 16 | 17 | | District, Bowie High provides a safe, caring, and collaborative |

| 17 | 18 | | atmosphere to over 450 students in the 9th through 12th grades; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Bowie High School has equipped many young Texans |

| 20 | 21 | | productive citizens, and the school is indeed worthy of recognition |
