H.R. No. 175
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rebecca Moore Wisdom is marking 30 years of service
with Members Financial Federal Credit Union in Midland in July
2017, and this occasion provides a fitting opportunity to reflect
on her outstanding record of achievement; and
WHEREAS, A Texarkana native and a graduate of Texas A&M
University, Becky Wisdom began her exemplary tenure with the credit
union in July 1987; over the years, she has held a number of
positions with the institution, and today she serves as president
and CEO; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Wisdom gives back to her community through her
involvement with Partners in Education and the Midland Chamber of
Commerce M-Squad, which has presented her with the Above and
Beyond, Jack Moore, and Life Member Awards; and
WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Ms. Wisdom enjoys the love and
support of her husband of 40 years, David, and their two daughters
and their spouses, Jillian and Drew Patton and Jennifer and Kari
Hytönen; and
WHEREAS, Through her dedication, professionalism, and
commitment to excellence, Becky Wisdom has made significant
contributions to advancing the mission of Members Financial Federal
Credit Union, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition on
this important milestone in her career; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby honor Rebecca Moore Wisdom
for her 30 years of service to Members Financial Federal Credit
Union and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Wisdom as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
