| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Carl Clemencich was elected as the representative |

| 6 | 7 | | for Place 2 on the Allen City Council in June 2017; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A resident of Allen for more than two decades, |

| 8 | 9 | | Mr. Clemencich was appointed to the board of the Allen Community |

| 9 | 10 | | Development Corporation in 1996 and went on to serve as a member of |

| 10 | 11 | | the boards of the Allen Parks and Recreation Department and the |

| 11 | 12 | | Allen Economic Development Corporation; in 2012, he became a |

| 12 | 13 | | trustee of the Allen Independent School District, and he has |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | volunteered his time with the Allen Community Emergency Response |

| 14 | 15 | | Team, Citizens on Patrol, Habitat for Humanity, the Citizens Fire |

| 15 | 16 | | and Police Academies, the Collin County Citizens' Sheriff's |

| 16 | 17 | | Academy, and many other worthwhile organizations; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Clemencich holds bachelor's and master's |

| 18 | 19 | | degrees in accounting and an MBA in corporate finance, and he has |

| 19 | 20 | | enjoyed a career as a certified public accountant that has spanned |

| 20 | 21 | | over 30 years; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and support |

| 21 | 22 | | of his wife, Laurie, and he takes immense pride in their five |

| 22 | 23 | | children and four grandchildren; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Appreciative of Allen's exceptional potential, Carl |

| 24 | 25 | | Clemencich is committed to making economic opportunity and a high |

| 25 | 26 | | quality of life available to all its citizens; now, therefore, be it |
