45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Isidro Gonzales has served with distinction as
67 Democratic Party precinct chair of Precinct 4006 in House District
78 95; and
89 WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of their
910 party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better
1011 state and nation for today's citizenry and for generations to come;
1112 and
1213 WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives,
1314 individuals must exercise their right to vote, and precinct chairs
1415 play an important role in the election process; their efforts to
1516 inspire voters to support their party's candidates are part of a
1617 proud and vital political tradition; and
1718 WHEREAS, It is most appropriate that we take this opportunity
1819 to recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time and energy
1920 toward promoting such goals of the Democratic Party as representing
2021 the interests of working families, fighting for equal
2122 opportunities, and advancing a more just and inclusive society;
2223 now, therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2425 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Isidro Gonzales for
2526 serving as Democratic Party precinct chair of Precinct 4006 in
2627 House District 95 and extend to this dedicated community leader
2728 sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Isidro Gonzales as an expression of high regard by the
3031 Texas House of Representatives.
