45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, School boards play a crucial role in meeting the
67 diverse educational needs of the children in their districts, and
78 Brad Watts is indeed deserving of recognition for his service as a
89 trustee of the Sanger Independent School District; and
910 WHEREAS, The mission of public schools throughout the state
1011 and nation is to empower children to become productive contributors
1112 to society in an ever-changing world; to that end, Mr. Watts works
1213 closely with other school board members, as well as with parents,
1314 teachers, and community leaders, to set policies that promote a
1415 learning environment in which all students have a chance to thrive;
1516 and
1617 WHEREAS, This notable Texan has demonstrated a truly
1718 exemplary commitment to area students and brings a set of skills and
1819 a range of experience that contribute immeasurably to the
1920 successful operation of Sanger ISD; now, therefore, be it
2021 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2122 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Brad Watts for his
2223 service as a member of the Sanger Independent School District Board
2324 of Trustees and extend to him sincere appreciation for his
2425 outstanding service to the community; and, be it further
2526 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2627 prepared for Mr. Watts as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2728 House of Representatives.
