| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, School boards play a crucial role in meeting the |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The mission of public schools throughout the state |

| 11 | 12 | | and nation is to empower children to become productive contributors |

| 12 | 13 | | to society in an ever-changing world; to that end, Dr. Jenkins works |

| 21 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 22 | 23 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Dr. Jackie Jenkins |
