| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, School boards play a crucial role in meeting the |

| 7 | 8 | | Dr. Joey Saxon is indeed deserving of recognition for his service as |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The mission of public schools throughout the state |

| 10 | 11 | | and nation is to empower children to become productive contributors |

| 11 | 12 | | to society in an ever-changing world; to that end, Dr. Saxon works |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 21 | 22 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Dr. Joey Saxon for |
