| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Klein Independent School District is |

| 6 | 7 | | celebrating the opening of Klein Cain High School in the fall of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Named for former district superintendent Jim Cain, |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | the new 665,000-square-foot campus will initially serve |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | approximately 1,500 freshmen and sophomores, with new grade levels |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | added in subsequent years; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Under the skilled leadership of principal Nicole |

| 13 | 14 | | Patin, the school will offer a number of special programs as well as |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | career and technology courses in health science, sports medicine, |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | agriculture, engineering, and auto mechanics; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The new Klein Cain High School reflects Klein ISD's |

| 17 | 18 | | ongoing commitment to providing students with a strong educational |

| 18 | 19 | | foundation on which to build, and it is indeed a welcome addition to |

| 19 | 20 | | the community; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 21 | 22 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commemorate the opening of |

| 22 | 23 | | Klein Cain High School and extend to the school's staff, teachers, |

| 23 | 24 | | and students sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
