| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Bailey Franklin of Boy Scouts of America Troop |

| 6 | 7 | | No. 155 in Georgetown has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this |

| 7 | 8 | | accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor |

| 9 | 10 | | bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting |

| 10 | 11 | | movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria, |

| 11 | 12 | | Mr. Franklin earned 33 merit badges, and he successfully completed |

| 12 | 13 | | an Eagle Scout project that involved building an earthen staircase |

| 13 | 14 | | connecting Chautauqua Park to the San Gabriel River Trail; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding |

| 15 | 16 | | leadership ability throughout his scouting career, serving his |

| 16 | 17 | | fellow troop members as senior patrol leader, chaplain's aide, and |

| 17 | 18 | | troop guide; he has also been named a Top Scout for Troop 155, and he |

| 18 | 19 | | is a recipient of the Arrow of Light Award; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, A freshman at West Texas A&M University, |

| 20 | 21 | | Mr. Franklin is studying animal science and plans to become a |

| 21 | 22 | | ruminant nutritionist; he has earned the prestigious Gold Award for |

| 22 | 23 | | his exemplary efforts with the Williamson County 4-H, and he is a |

| 23 | 24 | | valued congregant at First Baptist Church Georgetown; and |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Franklin's dedication to excellence and |

| 25 | 26 | | his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy |

| 26 | 27 | | to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with |

| 27 | 28 | | pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
