| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Glen Travis Campbell was born in Billstown, |

| 9 | 10 | | Arkansas, on April 22, 1936, to John and Carrie Campbell; one of 12 |

| 10 | 11 | | children in a family of sharecroppers, he learned to play the guitar |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | at the age of four, and he was playing professionally by the age of |

| 12 | 13 | | 15; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Early in his career, Mr. Campbell was a sought-after |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | session guitarist in Los Angeles, playing for artists as diverse as |

| 15 | 16 | | Dean Martin, the Beach Boys, Merle Haggard, and the Ronettes, and |

| 16 | 17 | | his guitar can be heard on such classic recordings as Frank |

| 17 | 18 | | Sinatra's "Strangers in the Night," the Monkees' "I'm a Believer," |
