H.R. No. 71
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Hadley Freeman of White Deer High School achieved
great distinction by winning a bronze medal in the Class 1A boys'
pole vault at the 2017 University Interscholastic League Track &
Field State Meet; and
WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at
Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 12, Mr. Freeman turned in a
notable performance, reaching a height of 13 feet, 0 inches, to
finish in a tie for third place; and
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for
high school track and field athletes, Hadley Freeman has ably
represented his school, and he will cherish his memories of this
outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Hadley
Freeman on placing third in the Class 1A boys' pole vault at the
2017 UIL Track & Field State Meet and extend to him sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Freeman as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
