5	7		relating to avoiding the abolishment of certain agencies subject to
6	8		the Texas Sunset Act.
7	9		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
8	10		SECTION 1. Section 151.004, Occupations Code, is amended to
9	11		read as follows:
10	12		Sec. 151.004. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas Medical
11	13		Board is subject to Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset
12	14		Act). Unless continued in existence as provided by that chapter,
13	15		the board is abolished and this subtitle and Chapters 204, 205, 206,
14	16		601, 602, 603, and 604 expire September 1, 2019 [2017].
15	17		SECTION 2. Section 501.005, Occupations Code, is amended to
16	18		read as follows:
17	19		Sec. 501.005. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas State
18	20		Board of Examiners of Psychologists is subject to Chapter 325,
19	21		Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence
20	22		as provided by that chapter, the board is abolished and this chapter
21	23		expires September 1, 2019 [2017].
22	24		SECTION 3. Section 502.003, Occupations Code, is amended to
23	25		read as follows:
24	26		Sec. 502.003. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas State
25	27		Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists is subject to
26	28		Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued
27	29		in existence as provided by that chapter, the board is abolished and
28	30		this chapter expires September 1, 2019 [2017].
29	31		SECTION 4. Section 503.005, Occupations Code, is amended to
30	32		read as follows:
31	33		Sec. 503.005. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas State
32	34		Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors is subject to Chapter
33	35		325, Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in
34	36		existence as provided by that chapter, the board is abolished
35	37		September 1, 2019 [2017].
36	38		SECTION 5. Section 505.005, Occupations Code, is amended to
37	39		read as follows:
38	40		Sec. 505.005. APPLICATION OF SUNSET ACT. The Texas State
39	41		Board of Social Worker Examiners is subject to Chapter 325,
40	42		Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence
41	43		as provided by that chapter, the board is abolished and Section
42	44		505.101 expires September 1, 2019 [2017].
43	45		SECTION 6. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
44	46		a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
45	47		provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
46	48		Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
47	49		Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the
48	50		legislative session.
