| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Mary "Bunnie" Smith, who is retiring from the Office of |

| 4 | 4 | | the Comptroller of Public Accounts on August 31, 2017, after 16 |

| 5 | 5 | | years and five months of loyal service; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Bunnie Smith is a customer service representative |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | at the Dallas Northeast Enforcement Field Office; throughout her |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | years of service, she has been noted for her reliability, her |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | organizational skills, and her professional expertise; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, she has |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | handled her far-reaching responsibilities with exceptional skill |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and dedication, and she has always been quick to step in and help |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | any coworker in need of assistance; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Bunnie Smith is an exemplary employee who is |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | respected and appreciated by her colleagues, and her presence with |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | missed; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Mary Smith on her |

| 20 | 20 | | successful career and on her many contributions to the state and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | congratulate her on her retirement; and, be it further |

| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her |
