| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |

| 3 | 3 | | by a great and enduring love, Roy and Peggy Hunt of Henderson |

| 4 | 4 | | celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 31, 2017; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hunt were united in matrimony in |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | Overton in 1957; over the years, their family has grown to |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | include their son, Tracy Hunt, and his wife, Kim, and their |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | daughter, Tami Hale, as well as three granddaughters, Chelsea |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Hale, Tori Hunt, and Alli Peacock, and a great-grandson, Jack |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Hale; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Mrs. Hunt have been active congregants of South Main Church of |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Christ; Mr. Hunt has owned Hunts Tire & Auto Service with his son |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | for more than 30 years, and Mrs. Hunt works part-time as a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | receptionist for the City of Henderson since her retirement after |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | two decades with the Henderson Independent School District; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | six decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | in their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Roy and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Peggy Hunt on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
