| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, J. T. and Yvonne McNabb of Blossom celebrated |

| 3 | 3 | | their 70th wedding anniversary on May 24, 2017, and they may |

| 4 | 4 | | indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |

| 5 | 5 | | shared; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1947, J. T. McNabb and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the former Yvonne Watson exchanged the vows of matrimony in the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | home of the Reverend D. D. Miller in Avery, and over the course |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | partner; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Reverend and Mrs. McNabb count among their |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | blessings a fine family that includes their five children, Kathy |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Brown, Patricia Cranford and her husband, Leroy, Charolette |

| 14 | 14 | | Bollman and her husband, Keith, Carla Rhodes and her husband, |

| 15 | 15 | | George, and Michael McNabb and his wife, Glynese, with whom they |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | treasure spending many special occasions; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, For seven decades, J. T. and Yvonne McNabb have |

| 18 | 18 | | brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; |

| 20 | 20 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, congratulate J. T. and Yvonne |
