SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 79
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Reynaldo Rojas, who is retiring from the Office of the
Comptroller of Public Accounts on August 31, 2017, after 41 years
and one month of loyal state service; and
WHEREAS, During his many years of service at the comptroller's
office, Mr. Rojas has been noted for his reliability, his
organizational skills, and his professional expertise; and
WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, he has
handled his far-reaching responsibilities with exceptional
efficiency and dedication, and he has helped to guide staff
members by his own example; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rojas is an exemplary employee who is respected
and appreciated by his colleagues, and his presence in the Office
of the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Reynaldo Rojas
on his outstanding career and on his many contributions to the
state and extend to him congratulations on his retirement and best
wishes for success in all his future endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
