1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 86
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize Michael Reck, who is retiring from the Office of the
4	4	Comptroller of Public Accounts on August 31, 2017, after 29 years
5	5	and seven months of loyal service to the state; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Over the course of his long tenure at the
7	7	comptroller's office, Mr. Reck has demonstrated a high degree of
8	8	organizational skill, professional expertise, and attention to
9	9	detail; and
10	10	WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful team member, he has
11	11	handled his various responsibilities with exceptional efficiency
12	12	and dedication, and he has contributed significantly to the
13	13	office's achievements; and
14	14	WHEREAS, Mr. Reck is respected and admired by his
15	15	colleagues, and his presence in the Office of the Comptroller of
16	16	Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it
17	17	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
18	18	Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Michael Reck on
19	19	his outstanding career and on his many contributions to the state
20	20	and extend to him congratulations on his retirement and best
21	21	wishes for continued success in all his future endeavors; and, be
22	22	it further
23	23	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
24	24	him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
