| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Aubrey Daniell |

| 3 | 3 | | and Evangeline Jacob made a lifetime commitment to one another, |

| 4 | 4 | | and their mutual trust has been amply rewarded, for they recently |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Aubrey and Evangeline were married on June 8, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 1952, at Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg, and they continue to |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | live just seven miles from their hometowns of Florence and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Andice; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Much has changed in the years of their marriage, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | yet Mr. and Mrs. Daniell have remained strong in their devotion, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | as they have continued to cherish the traditional values that |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | helped inspire their bond long ago; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The couple has been blessed with a wonderful |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | family; their four children, seven grandchildren, and six |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | great-grandchildren are a source of much pride and joy; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In celebration of their anniversary, Aubrey and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Evangeline gathered with family members for two days at their |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | lake house on Lake LBJ; they are a beloved couple, and the love |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | they share is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Aubrey |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | and Evangeline Daniell on their 65th wedding anniversary; and, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | be it further |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
