| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Albert Treviño for his many achievements; and |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | WHEREAS, Albert Treviño is a native of Brownsville and a |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | graduate of Brownsville High School, where he was a standout |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | athlete on the golf team, which went undefeated while he was a |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | member; he has remained an avid golfer, and he finished in the top |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 10 in the ESPN Golf Challenge Nationals in Las Vegas; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, He served the nation with distinction in the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | United States Air Force and the United States Air Force Reserve; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | while serving in the military, he married his beloved wife, Sarah |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Dianne Aucoin; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Treviño enjoyed a long and successful |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | business career; he first worked with Halliburton and then with |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the Western Company of North America, where he rose through the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | ranks into executive sales; the company was later acquired by BJ |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Services, which subsequently merged with Baker Hughes, and he |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | retired in 2015 after 48 years of hard work; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Albert Treviño is an exemplary citizen, and it is |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | truly fitting that he receive special recognition; now, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Albert Treviño |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | on his many achievements and extend to him best wishes for |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
