| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 45.003, Education Code, is amended by | |
| 12 | 12 | adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (a-1) The governing board or commissioners court may not | |
| 14 | 14 | include more than one project or category of expenditure in any | |
| 15 | 15 | proposition submitted to authorize the issuance of bonds. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only | |
| 17 | 17 | to an election ordered on or after the effective date of this Act. | |
| 18 | 18 | An election ordered before the effective date of this Act is | |
| 19 | 19 | governed by the law in effect when the election was ordered. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
