97 relating to monthly reports on preservation, maintenance, and
108 restoration expenses for the Alamo complex.
119 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1210 SECTION 1. Subchapter I, Chapter 31, Natural Resources
1311 Code, is amended by adding Section 31.4535 to read as follows:
14- Sec. 31.4535. MONTHLY EXPENSE REPORTS. (a) The land office
15- and any other state agency that in any month uses money appropriated
16- or donated to the agency by a public or private entity to pay an
17- expense incurred by the agency during the preceding month for the
18- preservation, maintenance, or restoration of the Alamo or Alamo
19- complex shall prepare a monthly report detailing the expense.
20- (b) A report required by Subsection (a) must be submitted in
21- the format required by the land office not later than the third
22- business day of the month following the month in which an expense
23- under that subsection is incurred. The report must include:
24- (1) the date the expense was incurred;
12+ Sec. 31.4535. MONTHLY EXPENSE REPORTS. (a) Any public or
13+ private entity that enters into an agreement with this state to
14+ provide a service or other benefit to preserve, maintain, or
15+ restore the Alamo or Alamo complex shall submit to the land office a
16+ monthly report detailing any service or benefit provided during the
17+ preceding month for those purposes.
18+ (b) The land office and any other state agency that in any
19+ month uses money appropriated or donated to the agency by a public
20+ or private entity to pay an expense incurred by the agency during
21+ the preceding month for the preservation, maintenance, or
22+ restoration of the Alamo or Alamo complex shall prepare a monthly
23+ report detailing the expense.
24+ (c) A report under this section must be submitted in the
25+ format required by the land office not later than the third business
26+ day of the month following the month in which a cost charged under
27+ Subsection (a) or an expense incurred under Subsection (b) occurs.
28+ The report must include:
29+ (1) the date the service or benefit was provided or the
30+ expense was incurred;
2531 (2) the amount charged;
26- (3) the name of the vendor who billed for the expense;
27- and
28- (4) a brief description of the expense.
29- (c) The land office shall post each monthly report submitted
32+ (3) the name of the vendor who provided the service or
33+ benefit or billed for the expense; and
34+ (4) a brief description of the specific service,
35+ benefit, or expense.
36+ (d) The land office shall post each monthly report submitted
3037 under this section on the land office's Internet website not later
3138 than the fifth business day after the date the report is submitted
3239 by posting a link to the report on the land office's home page.
3340 SECTION 2. The changes in law made by this Act apply only to
34- an expense incurred on or after the effective date of this Act.
