| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 25.00211(a), Government Code, is amended | |
| 11 | 11 | to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (a) Beginning on the first day of the state fiscal year, the | |
| 13 | 13 | state shall annually compensate each county [that collects the | |
| 14 | 14 | additional fees under Section 51.704] in an amount equal to 60 | |
| 15 | 15 | percent of the state salary of a district court judge in the county | |
| 16 | 16 | [$40,000] for each statutory probate court judge in the county. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
