A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the use of money in the ship channel improvement
revolving fund.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 56.003(a), Transportation Code, is
amended to read as follows:
(a) The commission by rule shall establish a revolving loan
program to use money from the fund to finance qualified projects of:
(1) [for] navigation districts; or
(2) municipalities or boards of trustees under Chapter
54.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
