12 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 42.042, Human Resources Code, is amended | |
13 | 11 | by adding Subsections (e-3) and (e-4) to read as follows: | |
14 | - | (e-3) The minimum standards for a day-care center or a | |
15 | - | registered family home adopted under Subsection (e) must be | |
16 | - | consistent with: | |
17 | - | (1) the most recent edition of the standards for | |
18 | - | physical activity and screen time as published by the American | |
19 | - | Academy of Pediatrics in Caring for Our Children: National Health | |
20 | - | and Safety Performance Standards; Guidelines for Early Care and | |
