410 AN ACT
511 relating to the designation of a portion of U.S. Highway 271 in
612 Titus County as the Titus County Korean War Veterans Memorial
713 Highway.
814 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
915 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
1016 is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows:
1117 Sec. 225.152. TITUS COUNTY KOREAN WAR VETERANS MEMORIAL
1218 HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of U.S. Highway 271 in Titus County
1319 between its intersection with Billy Daniel Street and its northern
1420 intersection with U.S. Highway 271 Business is designated as the
1521 Titus County Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway.
1622 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1723 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1824 designation as the Titus County Korean War Veterans Memorial
1925 Highway and any other appropriate information; and
2026 (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
2127 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2228 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
