410 AN ACT
511 relating to the designation of the portion of United States Highway
612 259 in Nacogdoches County as the Deputy Sheriff Raymond Bradley
713 Jimmerson Memorial Highway.
814 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
915 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
1016 is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows:
1117 Sec. 225.152. DEPUTY SHERIFF RAYMOND BRADLEY JIMMERSON
1218 MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of United States Highway 259 in
1319 Nacogdoches County is designated as the Deputy Sheriff Raymond
1420 Bradley Jimmerson Memorial Highway.
1521 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1622 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1723 designation as the Deputy Sheriff Raymond Bradley Jimmerson
1824 Memorial Highway and any other appropriate information; and
1925 (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
2026 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2127 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
