15 | 15 | CHAPTER 275. STATE LAW CONTROLS OVER CONFLICTING CONTRACT TERMS | |
16 | 16 | Sec. 275.001. CONFLICT WITH STATE LAW. (a) To the extent a | |
17 | 17 | term or condition of a contract is in conflict with a law of this | |
18 | 18 | state, the law of this state controls. | |
19 | 19 | (b) Subsection (a) may not be construed to authorize the | |
20 | 20 | impairment of any contract in violation of the Texas Constitution | |
21 | 21 | or the United States Constitution. | |
22 | 22 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
