| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 234.140, Local Government Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (d) This subchapter may not be construed to limit the | |
| 13 | 13 | authority of a home-rule municipality to enforce a zoning | |
| 14 | 14 | regulation adopted by the municipality to regulate game rooms or | |
| 15 | 15 | amusement redemption machines. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. Subchapter E, Chapter 234, Local Government | |
| 17 | 17 | Code, is amended by adding Section 234.141 to read as follows: | |
| 18 | 18 | Sec. 234.141. INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT. A county may enter | |
| 19 | 19 | into an interlocal agreement with a municipality to regulate the | |
| 20 | 20 | operation of game rooms or amusement redemption machines. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
