| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
| 11 | 11 | is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 225.152. MARTHA PATILLO SIV PARKWAY. (a) The portion | |
| 13 | 13 | of U.S. Highway 60 between the mile marker closest to a point two | |
| 14 | 14 | miles east of the highway's intersection with Business Interstate | |
| 15 | 15 | Highway 40 and the mile marker closest to a point one mile southwest | |
| 16 | 16 | of the southwest municipal limits of Pampa is designated as the | |
| 17 | 17 | Martha Patillo Siv Parkway. | |
| 18 | 18 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |
| 19 | 19 | (1) design and construct markers indicating the | |
| 20 | 20 | designation as the Martha Patillo Siv Parkway and any other | |
| 21 | 21 | appropriate information; and | |
| 22 | 22 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at | |
| 23 | 23 | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. | |
| 24 | 24 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
