410 AN ACT
511 relating to the provision of certain services through statewide
612 technology centers.
713 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
814 SECTION 1. Section 2054.376, Government Code, is amended by
915 adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows:
1016 (a-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (a), this subchapter
1117 applies to electronic messaging service and outsourced managed
1218 services that are:
1319 (1) obtained by a state agency using state money;
1420 (2) used by a state agency; or
1521 (3) used by a participating local government.
1622 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
