410 AN ACT
511 relating to the number of emissions inspections performed by
612 certain vehicle inspection stations.
713 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
814 SECTION 1. Section 548.3075(b), Transportation Code, is
915 amended to read as follows:
1016 (b) A department rule that allows an [a qualified]
1117 inspection station to perform a limited emissions inspection of a
1218 motor vehicle may not restrict the number of limited emissions
1319 [station to fewer than 150] inspections conducted by the station
1420 [per month].
1521 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect January 1, 2020.
