411 AN ACT
512 relating to the designation of a portion of U.S. Highway 84 in
613 McLennan County as the Waco Police Sgt. Bobby Vicha Memorial
714 Highway.
815 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
916 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
1017 is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows:
1118 Sec. 225.152. WACO POLICE SGT. BOBBY VICHA MEMORIAL
1219 HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of U.S. Highway 84 in McLennan County
1320 between its intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 1330 and its
1421 intersection with North Vicha Road is designated as the Waco Police
1522 Sgt. Bobby Vicha Memorial Highway.
1623 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1724 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1825 designation as the Waco Police Sgt. Bobby Vicha Memorial Highway
1926 and any other appropriate information; and
2027 (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
2128 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2229 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
