A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to certain obligations of franchised dealers in connection
with certain warranties for a new motor vehicle.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 2301.602(a), Occupations Code, is
amended to read as follows:
(a) The board shall cause a manufacturer, converter, [or]
distributor, or franchised dealer to perform an obligation imposed
by this subchapter.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
