| 8 | 14 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 9 | 15 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 10 | 16 | | is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 11 | 17 | | Sec. 225.152. JOHN L. HORN MEMORIAL PARKWAY. (a) The |
|---|
| 12 | 18 | | following highways in Hunt County are designated as the John L. Horn |
|---|
| 13 | 19 | | Memorial Parkway: |
|---|
| 14 | 20 | | (1) the portion of Farm-to-Market Road 1570 between |
|---|
| 15 | 21 | | its intersection with State Highway 34 and State Highway 66; and |
|---|
| 16 | 22 | | (2) Spur 1570 between its intersection with State |
|---|
| 17 | 23 | | Highway 66 and U.S. Highway 380. |
|---|
| 18 | 24 | | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: |
|---|
| 19 | 25 | | (1) design and construct markers indicating the |
|---|
| 20 | 26 | | designation as the John L. Horn Memorial Parkway and any other |
|---|
| 21 | 27 | | appropriate information; and |
|---|
| 22 | 28 | | (2) erect a marker at each end of the parkway and at |
|---|
| 23 | 29 | | appropriate intermediate sites along the parkway. |

| 24 | 30 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
