1311 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1412 SECTION 1. Chapter 26, Education Code, is amended by adding
1513 Section 26.015 to read as follows:
1614 Sec. 26.015. POSTING OF INFORMATION REGARDING
1715 ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBLE FOR STUDENT DISCIPLINE. A school
1816 district shall post on the district's Internet website, for each
19- district campus, the e-mail address and dedicated telephone number
20- of a person clearly identified as:
17+ district campus, the name and contact information of:
2118 (1) the campus behavior coordinator designated under
2219 Section 37.0012; or
2320 (2) if the district has been designated as a district
2421 of innovation under Chapter 12A and is exempt from the requirement
2522 to designate a campus behavior coordinator under Section 37.0012
26- under the district's local innovation plan, a campus administrator
27- designated as being responsible for student discipline.
23+ under the district's local innovation plan, the school
24+ administrator primarily responsible for student discipline.
2825 SECTION 2. This Act applies beginning with the 2019-2020
2926 school year.
3027 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
3128 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
3229 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
3330 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
3431 Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
