| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 117.012, Natural Resources Code, is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | amended by adding Subsection (j) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | (j) The commission shall publish on its Internet website |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | maps of evacuation zones for emergencies relating to hazardous |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | liquid or carbon dioxide pipeline facilities. The commission may |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | require pipeline facility operators to submit to the commission any |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | information needed for the purposes of this subsection. Each |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | evacuation zone map must show: |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | (1) for each pipeline facility, the associated high |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | consequence area and surrounding buffer zone; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (2) the roads and bodies of water in the evacuation |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | zone; |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (3) a legend; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | (4) a linear scale for distance; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (5) a compass rose. |

| 25 | 25 | | SECTION 2. Section 121.2015, Utilities Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (d) The railroad commission shall publish on its Internet |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | website maps of evacuation zones for emergencies relating to gas |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | pipeline facilities. The railroad commission may require pipeline |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | facility operators to submit to the commission any information |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | needed for the purposes of this subsection. Each evacuation zone |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | map must show: |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | (1) for each pipeline facility, the associated high |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | consequence area and surrounding buffer zone; |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | (2) the roads and bodies of water in the evacuation |
