| 11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION. The amount of $23 million is | |
| 13 | 13 | appropriated from the emergency radio infrastructure account in the | |
| 14 | 14 | general revenue fund to the Texas Division of Emergency Management | |
| 15 | 15 | for the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2021. Money | |
| 16 | 16 | appropriated to the Texas Division of Emergency Management under | |
| 17 | 17 | this section shall be used to plan, develop, and provide an | |
| 18 | 18 | interoperable statewide emergency radio infrastructure. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act takes effect September | |
| 20 | 20 | 1, 2019. |
