| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Chapter 493, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 10 | 10 | adding Section 493.032 to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | Sec. 493.032. DEPARTMENT RODEO. (a) The department may | |
| 12 | 12 | annually host a rodeo in Huntsville in which inmates participate on | |
| 13 | 13 | a voluntary basis. | |
| 14 | 14 | (b) The department may charge an admission fee to offset the | |
| 15 | 15 | department's costs in hosting the rodeo. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
