| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 42.002(c), Parks and Wildlife Code, is | |
| 10 | 10 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (c) A resident landowner or the landowner's agent or lessee | |
| 12 | 12 | may take feral hogs [causing depredation] on the resident | |
| 13 | 13 | landowner's land without having acquired a hunting license. | |
| 14 | 14 | SECTION 2. Section 42.005(f), Parks and Wildlife Code, is | |
| 15 | 15 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 16 | 16 | (f) A nonresident landowner or the landowner's agent or | |
| 17 | 17 | lessee may take feral hogs [causing depredation] on the nonresident | |
| 18 | 18 | landowner's land without having acquired a hunting license required | |
| 19 | 19 | by this chapter. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
