| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 72.031(c-1), Government Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | repealed. | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 2. Section 103.027(b), Government Code, is amended | |
| 13 | 13 | to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | (b) Any fee of $2 charged by a local government or appellate | |
| 15 | 15 | court for an electronic filing transaction as authorized under | |
| 16 | 16 | Section 72.031(c), Government Code, shall be collected. [This | |
| 17 | 17 | subsection expires September 1, 2019.] | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 19 | 19 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 20 | 20 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 21 | 21 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 22 | 22 | Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the | |
| 23 | 23 | legislative session. |
