66 AN ACT
77 relating to the boundaries of San Patricio County.
88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. The territorial boundaries of San Patricio
1010 County include the following properties:
1111 (1) Oxy's Pier: A pier and related facilities owned by
1212 Occidental Chemical Corporation (Oxy) and that extend from Oxy's
1313 facilities on the mainland of San Patricio County into the La Quinta
1414 Ship Channel and the waters of the La Quinta Ship Channel
1515 intervening between the detached parts of Donnell and Ingleside
1616 Points and the mainland, and are appurtenant to and improvements of
1717 Oxy's real property in San Patricio County;
1818 (2) Oxy's Submerged Land: Submerged land owned by Oxy
1919 and consisting of approximately 36.663 acres, attached to the
2020 mainland of San Patricio County and located in the La Quinta Ship
2121 Channel and waters of the La Quinta Ship Channel intervening
2222 between the detached parts of Donnell and Ingleside Points and the
2323 mainland;
2424 (3) Sherwin's Pier: A pier and related facilities
2525 owned by Sherwin Alumina Company (Sherwin) and that extend from
2626 Sherwin's facilities on the mainland of San Patricio County into
2727 the La Quinta Ship Channel and the waters of the La Quinta Ship
2828 Channel intervening between the detached parts of Donnell and
2929 Ingleside Points and the mainland, and are appurtenant to and
3030 improvements of Sherwin's real property in San Patricio County;
3131 (4) Sherwin's Submerged Land: Submerged land owned by
3232 Sherwin and consisting of approximately 41.458 acres that are
3333 attached to the mainland of San Patricio County and located in the
3434 La Quinta Ship Channel and waters of the La Quinta Ship Channel
3535 intervening between the detached parts of Donnell and Ingleside
3636 Points and the mainland;
3737 (5) Kiewit's Submerged Land No. l: Submerged land
3838 owned by Kiewit Offshore Services, Ltd. (Kiewit) 13 and consisting
3939 of the approximately 74.723 acres attached to the San Patricio
4040 County mainland and located in the La Quinta Ship Channel and waters
4141 of the La Quinta Ship Channel intervening between the detached
4242 parts of Donnell and Ingleside Points and the mainland;
4343 (6) Kiewit Submerged Land No. 2: Submerged land owned
4444 by Kiewit and consisting of the approximately 105.477 acres
4545 attached to the San Patricio County mainland and located in the La
4646 Quinta Ship Channel and waters of the La Quinta Ship Channel
4747 intervening between the detached parts of Donnell and Ingleside
4848 Points and the mainland;
4949 (7) Kiewit's Pier: Former Navy pier and related
5050 facilities owned by Kiewit and that extend from Kiewit's facilities
5151 on the mainland of San Patricio County into the La Quinta Ship
5252 Channel and the waters of the La Quinta Ship Channel intervening
5353 between the detached parts of Donnell and Ingleside Points and the
5454 mainland, and are appurtenant to and improvements of Kiewit's real
5555 property in San Patricio County;
5656 (8) Flint Hills Pier, also known as Flint Hills New
5757 Dock: Former Navy loading pier or small craft pier, and related
5858 facilities owned by Flint Hills Resources LP and that extend from
5959 Flint Hills Resources LP's facilities on the mainland of San
6060 Patricio County, and are appurtenant to and improvements of Flint
6161 Hills Resources LP's real property in San Patricio County;
6262 (9) Flint Hills Facility, also known as Flint Hills
6363 Ex-Navy Dock: Former Navy Facilities owned by and that extend from
6464 Flint Hills Resources LP's facilities on the mainland of San
6565 Patricio County, and are appurtenant to and improvements of Flint
6666 Hills Resources LP's real property in San Patricio County;
6767 (10) Signet Maritime Submerged Land No. l: Submerged
6868 land owned by Signet Maritime Corporation, consisting of
6969 approximately 1.80 acres attached to the San Patricio County
7070 mainland and located in the La Quinta Ship Channel and waters of the
7171 La Quinta Ship Channel intervening between the detached parts of
7272 Donnell and Ingleside Points and the mainland;
7373 (11) Signet Maritime Submerged Land No. 2: Submerged
7474 land owned by Signet Maritime Corporation, consisting of
7575 approximately 3.887 acres attached to the San Patricio County
7676 mainland and located in the La Quinta Ship Channel and waters of the
7777 La Quinta Ship Channel intervening between the detached parts of
7878 Donnell and Ingleside Points and the mainland;
7979 (12) Signet Maritime Submerged Land No. 3: Submerged
8080 land owned by Signet Maritime Corporation, consisting of
8181 approximately 4.855 acres attached to the San Patricio County
8282 mainland and located in the La Quinta Ship Channel and waters of the
8383 La Quinta Ship Channel intervening between the detached parts of
8484 Donnell and Ingleside Points and the mainland;
8585 (13) Signet Maritime Submerged Land No. 4: Submerged
8686 land owned by Signet Maritime Corporation, consisting of
8787 approximately 1.78 acres attached to the San Patricio County
8888 mainland and located in the La Quinta Ship Channel and waters of the
8989 La Quinta Ship Channel intervening between the detached parts of
9090 Donnell and Ingleside Points and the mainland; and
9191 (14) Corpus Christi LNG's Submerged Land: Submerged
9292 land owned by Corpus Christi LNG/Cheniere Energy Inc., consisting
9393 of approximately 52.25 acres attached to the San Patricio County
9494 mainland and located in the La Quinta Ship Channel and waters of the
9595 La Quinta Ship Channel intervening between the detached parts of
9696 Donnell and Ingleside Points and the mainland.
9797 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
9898 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
9999 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
100100 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
101101 Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
