| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 1305, Occupations Code, is | |
| 12 | 12 | amended by adding Section 1305.106 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 1305.106. MUNICIPAL AND COUNTY INSPECTORS. The | |
| 14 | 14 | department may contract with a municipal or county inspector to | |
| 15 | 15 | enforce or assist in the enforcement of this chapter and rules | |
| 16 | 16 | adopted under this chapter, including the performance of | |
| 17 | 17 | inspections and investigations required under this chapter. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
