410 AN ACT
511 relating to the designation of a portion of Farm-to-Market Road 716
612 in Duval County as the Pete Salinas Trail.
713 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
814 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
915 is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows:
1016 Sec. 225.152. PETE SALINAS TRAIL. (a) The portion of
1117 Farm-to-Market Road 716 in Duval County between its intersection
1218 with State Highway 339 and its intersection with Farm-to-Market
1319 Road 1329 is designated as Pete Salinas Trail.
1420 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1521 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1622 designation as the Pete Salinas Trail and any other appropriate
1723 information; and
1824 (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
1925 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2026 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2127 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2228 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2329 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2430 Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
