R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The BBQ is Back Cook-off is taking place in
Littlefield on July 19 and 20, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers
Association as one of the organization's annual state cook-offs,
this much anticipated event attracts accomplished pit masters from
across Texas who put their skills to the test as they vie to produce
the tastiest entries and earn prizes in several different
categories; and
WHEREAS, The cook-off is held in conjunction with the two-day
Celebrate Littlefield festivities; along with great food and
spirited culinary competition, attendees can also enjoy live music
and a range of family-friendly activities; and
WHEREAS, The BBQ is Back Cook-off is a beloved community
tradition that offers fun and excitement for individuals of all
ages, and it promises to be a source of fond memories for all who
attend; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the 2019 BBQ is Back Cook-off in
Littlefield and extend sincere best wishes to the event's
organizers and participants for an enjoyable get-together.
