| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The trauma center at Chillicothe Hospital has earned |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This prestigious recognition is awarded to |

| 9 | 10 | | facilities that go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital |

| 10 | 11 | | licensure requirements; valid for three years, the designation |

| 11 | 12 | | reflects an institution's outstanding dedication to improving, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | expediting, and standardizing the care of trauma patients; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In addition to its outstanding trauma center, |

| 14 | 15 | | Chillicothe Hospital offers a wide range of services, including |

| 15 | 16 | | inpatient and outpatient care, ambulatory surgery, and radiology, |

| 16 | 17 | | as well as mobile ultrasound, CT scan, and echocardiogram; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, The physicians, staff, and administrators at |

| 18 | 19 | | Chillicothe Hospital have worked tirelessly to ensure skilled and |

| 19 | 20 | | compassionate care for their patients, and the hospital's receipt |

| 20 | 21 | | of a Level IV trauma facility designation is a testament to their |

| 21 | 22 | | ongoing commitment to excellence; now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |

| 23 | 24 | | Legislature hereby congratulate the Chillicothe Hospital trauma |
