5	6		WHEREAS, Muenster Memorial Hospital has distinguished itself
6	7		by earning a Level IV trauma facility designation from the Texas
7	8		Department of State Health Services; and
8	9		WHEREAS, This prestigious recognition is awarded to health
9	10		care centers that go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital
10	11		licensure requirements; valid for three years, the designation
11	12		reflects an institution's outstanding dedication to improving,
12	13		expediting, and standardizing the care of trauma patients; and
13	14		WHEREAS, Muenster Memorial Hospital first opened its doors in
14	15		1964, and today it offers a wide range of services, including
15	16		emergency care, rehabilitation, speech therapy, radiology, and
16	17		cardiac diagnostics; and
17	18		WHEREAS, Since its inception, Muenster Memorial Hospital has
18	19		worked tirelessly to ensure skilled and compassionate care for its
19	20		patients, and its receipt of a Level IV trauma facility designation
20	21		is a testament to its ongoing commitment to excellence; now,
21	22		therefore, be it
22	23		RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
23	24		Legislature hereby congratulate Muenster Memorial Hospital on its
24	25		designation as a Level IV trauma facility by the Texas Department of
25	26		State Health Services and extend to the hospital's physicians,
26	27		staff, and administrators sincere best wishes for continued success
27	28		with their important work; and, be it further
28	29		RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
29	30		prepared for Muenster Memorial Hospital as an expression of high
30	31		regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
