| 12 | 13 | | Operation Inherent Resolve; he and six other airmen lost their |

| 13 | 14 | | lives when their helicopter crashed during the course of a |

| 14 | 15 | | nighttime rescue operation; in recognition of his distinguished |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Mark Weber was born to Ron and Margaret Weber of |

| 20 | 21 | | Guyer High School and followed in his father's footsteps by |

| 21 | 22 | | attending the U.S. Air Force Academy; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Commissioned a second lieutenant after his |

| 23 | 24 | | graduation from the academy in 2011, Captain Weber initially worked |

| 24 | 25 | | as a contracting officer for the air force, but he soon began |

| 25 | 26 | | training as a combat rescue officer, responsible for the planning |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | and execution of search-and-rescue operations for wounded and |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | downed pilots in combat zones; he became skilled at this difficult |

| 28 | 29 | | and dangerous work, and before deploying to Iraq, he took part in |

| 29 | 30 | | rescues in the United States during the hurricane season of 2017; |

| 31 | 32 | | WHEREAS, Serving with honor, courage, and dedication, Mark |
